Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4. Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and Steam! The game has also been updated to fix some bugs and improve game performance!
One of the stretch goals for the original Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was an 8-bit game and it seems that Curse of the Moon intends to fulfill that requirement once it is released Today.
If you are a fan of the 8-bit era of Castlevania games, then Curse of the Moon looks exactly like the kind of game you might enjoy.
With four playable characters, that of Miriam, Zangetsu, Alfred, and Gebel, it seems that the gameplay will be nicely varied as a result (shown below).
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is released digitally for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, 3DS, Vita, and PC on May 24 and will cost $9.99. If you already backed the main Bloodstained game at the $28 tier or more, then you will receive Curse of the Moon for free.
